The Application Procedure
Persons interested in a career with Harvey Gulf should access the “CAREERS” page of Harvey Gulf’s website, located at www.harveygulf.com, or apply in person at Harvey Gulf’s Corporate or Operations Office. Using either option, an applicant must first review the Competency Profile for the positions they are considering. They can be viewed through selecting the “Competency Profiles” link on the “CAREERS” page of the website and then selecting the position desired. The Competency Profile for each position are in pdf format and can be reviewed online, downloaded, or printed. Hard copies can be obtained at either Harvey Gulf’s Operations, or Corporate office.
If, after reviewing the Competency Profile, an applicant feels that he or she is qualified for, and capable of performing with reasonable accommodation, the Competency Profile for the position desired, he or she may apply for the position by completing the Harvey Gulf Employment Application, providing all information requested as accurately and completely as possible. The Employment Application can be accessed through selecting the “Application” link on the “CAREERS” page of the website. Alternatively, a hard copy can be obtained at either Harvey Gulf’s Operations, or Corporate office.
From the Employment Application page, the Employment Application can be completed and submitted live and on line, or by printing the version accessible in pdf format and submitting a hard copy of the Employment Application to Harvey Gulf’s Operations office. Applicants submitting an Employment Application live and on-line must type their name in the “Signature” block at the end of the Employment Application and, by doing so, certify that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms set forth in the Employment Application.
Applicants are requested to submit resumes, bios, and other documents that will be of assistance in evaluation process. Such documents may include, but are not limited to, copies of an applicant’s Z-Card, STCW ’95 Endorsement, Social Security Card, Safe Gulf, TWIC, and any other licenses or training certificates pertaining to the position applying for. This can be done by attaching pdf., or electronic versions to the on-line Employment Application by selecting the “Attachments” link, or, by submitting them along with the Employment Application, if submitted in hard copy by mail or in person.
Harvey Gulf will review the Application and all documents submitted for consideration and contact the applicant when any hiring decision is made.
