Every new mariner is assigned a mentor, who will work side-by-side with the new mariner to provide necessary on-the-job training and skill development. Harvey Gulf builds upon our initial training and mentoring with regular performance evaluations and mandatory participation requirements in our behavior based safety programs. Ultimately, our employees develop the skills and experience needed to operate Harvey Gulf vessels as efficiently and safely as possible and thereby help us achieve our mission of providing our customers with excellent service and value while causing no damage to people, assets or the environment.
